About 1 kyu, but now more interested in Go history and the leading players.
Ph.D. scientist who has lived in Australia, New Zealand, and America. Also quite familiar with chess.
A number of years ago, before strong AI Go programs, but after Internet Go, I found this site to be very helpful. But returning after a hiatus of several years, I found that a lot of articles had not been updated for a long time. So I wanted to pay back something to this site by updating lots of the player biographies, and adding relevant information. I have made a number of new pages, mainly of younger pros who had yet to have their own articles on this site.
New pages
Nanseolheon Cup, Hyorim Cup, Kim Joo-ah, Choi Seo-bi, Lee Minseok, Eom Dong-geon, Lee Jung-eun, Lee Nahyun, Kang Jae-woo, Kim Minji, Im Sang Gyu, Kang Jae-woo, Kang Da-jeong, Choi Wonjin, Lee Nam-kyung, Yun Raeun, Go To Everyone, Go Ratings, IPA.

xela: Welcome to SL, and thanks for all the great work updating the player profiles! Are you still living in one of Australia, New Zealand, or America?
Jono64a: Thank you for your generous comments. I now live in the USA but still have lots of family in NZ.
Hanmanchu: Thank you for your contributions! My sentiment about SL is the same as you state above :)
