Park Jonghoon

Park Jonghoon (or Jonghun, Kanji: 박종훈, Hanja: 朴鐘勳, b. 14 January 2000) is a Korean professional 9 dan.

Early life

Park Jonghoon is the eldest son of Park Yang-gyo and Park Jin-ho. He studied Baduk under Kim Dae-yong 5p at the Chungam Baduk school.

• Winner, Super Cup Baduk Open, earned promotion from 7 dan to 8 dan.

2025

Beat Taiwanese 9p Xu Haohong in the 2024–2025 KB Kookmin Bank Baduk League on 3 April. This earned 4 points, enough for promotion to 9 dan.
