Kwon Hyo-jin (m)

Kwon Hyo-jin (Hangul: 권효진(남), Hanja: 權孝珍) is a Korean professional 7 dan born 8 Jan 2004. He became a professional when he was only 12. It took four years before he reached 2 dan, but only three more years to reach 7 dan.

He has the same name (both Hangul and Hanja) as a female 8p 22 years older, and the first Korean woman to become a pro, whose name is also spelled Kweon Hyo-chin. Thus in English he is often referred to with the (m) designation, or in Chinese (男) and Korean (남).
