Leebong Cup
Korean professional tournament for new professionals, also called Lee Bung-bae Rookie of the Year Tournament, sponsored by Samwon Co. and Leebong Scholarship. It was revived after 14 years from being a children's baduk tournament.
The tournament is open to both sexes. But Japan’s “genius girl” Nakamura Sumire is the only female to have reached the finals (of the 6th, 2025).

6th Edn, 2025
The 6th Edn format is best-of-three matches. These are all very fast games played on the same day, with only a 5-minute break between games. They are played with Fischer Timing of 5 minutes plus 20 second increments.
The tournament is sponsored by Samwon and Lee Boong Scholarship Association, hosted and organized by the Korea Baduk Association, and broadcasted by K-Baduk.
The prize money for the winner is ₩10M (~$US7,000), and the prize money for the runner-up is ₩5M (~$US3,500).
