Yu Zhiying

Yu Zhiying (於之莹 Yú Zhīyíng) is a female professional 8 dan from China, who was born on 1997-11-23 in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China.^[1] She was the #1 ranked female on the women's rating list while still in her teens, from 2013 to 2016, then #2 behind Choi Jung until 2023. In 2024, she dropped to #4 as Kim Eunji took #2, she also fell behind #3 Zhou Hongyu.

In 2024-11-09, she had dropped to world #7 female and China’s #2 female.
