Rating

She is one of the highest rated female players in China. On Go Ratings, she was ranked amongst women #6 in [ext] Jan 2024, and in the top ten since at least 2017.

Despite her impressive rating, her tournament results are unexceptional. She does not appear to have ever reached the final of any women's tournament. In the 2023 Female Mingren, Lu was knocked out in the quarterfinals by Tang Yi (Women's #~20). She suffered the same fate in the 2023 Female Guoshou, at the hands of Zhou Hongyu. In the 2023 Jianqiao Cup, she was eliminated in the second round, by Wang Chenxing (Women's #~13). She didn't qualify, or wasn't chosen, for the international 2023 Wu Qingyuan Cup. There seems reason to call her rating into question.

As a counterpoint, her scores against other strong female players are respectable.
