Keima kakari

  Difficulty: Introductory   Keywords: Shape

Chinese: 飞挂 (fēiguā)
Japanese: ケイマガカリ (keimagakari)
Korean: -

A knight's (keima) approach (kakari) move against a single corner stone on the 4-4 point or 3-4 point stone. Perhaps the single most common type of approach move. Also small knight's move approach, kogeima-gakari.

In spite of this page's main name, keima kakari is incorrect as a pronunciation. Keima-gakari is correct.
