Kogo's Joseki Dictionary
Online, it was last updated February 25, 2014.
There are many patterns in Kogo's that are hard to find. Reductions and invasions are covered, but finding the right sequence of stones to play to get to them is hard. Here is an index of some hard to get to but very useful examples:
|Description||Key to get there|
|Probing a small knight's enclosure||25a2a2a|
|Shoulder hit reduction||911|
|Side contact of a 4th line stone||35aba|
iff: Has anybody figured out a way to put this on a Palm (I have a T5)? Is there a sgf-viewer that can handle such a large file or has anybody chopped it down to a collection of smaller files?
Alejo: The developers of TaiGo made it work on a T3, so I assume that your PDA should be able to open it too. BTW, is there any way to contact KJD developers? It seems like they don't check the email they give at their homepage...
BluPian0: Who else has problems with Kogo's and CGoban3? Loading the SGF file produces about a hundred conflicts. For this reason, a lot of sequences are missing.
As Frantic mentions, run Kogo's through an SGF checker first, to remove the illegal markup. Then cgoban opens it just fine
fractic: This problems are because the same move is added twice as a variation. This isn't following the SGF standards. glGo doesn't open kogo at all because of this. Most of these moves are very deep in variations (like large avalanche and taisha).
myshlev: glGo-1.4 opens the latest version just fine for me.
