All Japan Female Amateur Championship

All Japan Female Amateur Championship (全日本女流アマチュア囲碁選手権大会) is the only Go tournament in Japan open to all female amateur players from any prefecture. It is sponsored by the Nihon Ki-in. Many participants eventually became professional players. The Japanese Wikipedia includes a complete list of all professionals who attended the tournament before turning professional.
