Two step hane

Chinese: 连扳 (連扳) (lian2 ban1)
Japanese: 二段バネ (nidan-bane)
Korean: 이단젖힘

Black 1, Black 3: double hane

A two-step hane, commonly called a double hane is - as the name already suggests - two hanes played in succession. It is a response to White's hane-kaeshi at W2. Usually it is quite a powerful play, if the local situation allows it.
