Liu Xing

刘星 (liu2 xing1, Liú xīng, b.1984-Dec-10), Chinese pro, 5 dan in 2000, 6 dan in 2001, 7 dan in 2005. Ranked #3 in Chinese Ranking as of August 2009.

Liu Xing also won Japan China Agon Cup against Cho U in 2006 and 2007.

Personal life

In October 2016, Liu Xing married] Wang Chenxing 5p, with Nie Weiping as a witness. . Both of their given names have the same character 星 (xīng) meaning “star”. Their son was born in 2017. Wang sometimes takes their son to competition venues.
