Jiang Mingjiu

Jiang Mingjiu (traditional: 江鳴久; simplified: 江鸣久; born 1957) is a Chinese 7-dan professional Go player.

Jiang is the brother of Jiang Zhujiu.

Author of Punishing and Correcting Joseki Mistakes. Co-author, with Guo Juan, of All about Joseki.

Jiang Mingjiu and Guo Juan conduct free go lectures every Sunday on KGS in the room entitled Ing Goe Internet Class. The [ext] schedule for these lecture is available. In each lecture Guo Juan emphasies a few central principles. These free lectures were on hiatus, but have now continued (Sept 2012).

Co-editor, with his brother Jiang Zhujiu, of "Weiqi Technique Encyclopedia (Guanzi Pu)" or "围棋技巧大全 (官子谱)" is a new (March 1996) version of Guanzi Pu.

Winner of the Western Section of the 2004, 2006, and 2008 North American Toyota Denso Oza Championship.

He represented the US in the 21st Fujitsu Cup (2008), where he lost to Kono Rin by resignation in the first round.

He represented North America in the 8th Chunlan Cup (2010), where he lost by resignation to Gu Lingyi in the first round.
