Name
Cho’s original given name was Mi-kyung, but she changed to Yeonwoo in 2015. She pronounces her chosen name Yeonwoo something like “Yuh-noo” (IPA: /jʌ.nu/). The characters suggest “Yuhn-oo” (IPA: /jʌn.u/) but resyllabification is common in casual speech. Either way, the w in the standard romanization in this case is not meant to be pronounced as a consonant.
