Women's Kuksu

Korean tournament for women, basically the national women’s champion. Decided in a best-of-three title match series with four hours of time per player.

The official name of the 29th Women’s Kuksu is the 29th Harim Cup Women’s National Go Championship. It is named for the current sponsor, leading Korean food company Harim Harim Co., Ltd. The winner will receive 30 million won ($US21,000) in prize money, and the runner-up will receive 10 million won ($US7,000). The tournament uses Fischer timing: each player receives 30 minutes plus an additional 30 seconds per move.
