Kim Shin Young
Kim Shin Young (Hangul: ; Hanja:金伸英) is a female Korean 3 dan professional. She was born on 25 February 1991 (Seoul). Her name is spelled Kim Jinyoung on Go To Everyone, and Kim Sinyoung on Go4Go and Go Ratings.

Early Go career
Along with another strong Korean amateur, Hong Seok-Uim she beat a pair of Japanese professionals in the Pair Go at the 1st World Mind Sports Games ( report here). She was the top ranked Korean insei.
She lost to future 9p Kim Chaeyeong in the 40th Women’s Entrance Tournament in 2011. In 2012, aged 21, she beat Park Taehee in the 41st Women’s Entrance Tournament, and burst into tears of joy at becoming a professional. She qualified with another future 9p, O Yujin.

Go highlights
In 2015, while still 1 dan, she surprised by winning the Winners’ Group of the 16th Women's Myeongin challengers. But she lost to the winner of the Losers’ final, future 9p but then 1p O Yujin. O Yujin then lost the challenge for the title to Choi Jung.
The same year, she also made finals of the 20th Women's Kuksu. She beat Park Sohyun 3p, Cho Hyeyeon 9p, and O Junga 2p. But she lost in the final to Park Jiyun 3p, 1–2.
She plays on KGS as shinyoung.
Now she mainly teaches the next generation, operating a Baduk center in Gimpo Hangang New Town.
Personal life
Kim Shin Young is the eldest daughter of Kim Su-gi and Jeon Myeong-ae.
She married Heo Yeong-ho 9p on 11 May 2019 after dating for 6 years.
