10. The Earth quakes and the heavens rattle; the beasts of nature
flock together and the nations of men flock apart; volcanoes
usher up heat while elsewhere water becomes ice and melts; and
then on other days it just rains.
11. Indeed do many things come to pass.

HBT; The Book of Predictions, Chap. 19

I'm Sebastien, 27 years old. I'm Canadian, and live in Gatineau, Québec. I started playing go in 2002, but stopped after a few months as other things got in the way. I was about 14 kyu then. I came back to go with an 11 kyu rating, thanks to CGoban3. After much study, I am now an 8 kyu. I don't plan on giving up again until I reach shodan, but plans have a funny way of changing at a moment's notice.

I mainly play games on KGS and [ext] study L&D problems. I also like to study pro games, usually Takagawa Shukaku's. I use Kombilo for joseki and fuseki research, I recommend you try it out. It is especially nice combined with large databases of pro and strong amateur games, along with your own of course.

I sometimes hang out in the [LY!] Go Club room. My brother is FLeclair82. He is about two stones weaker than me, but since I keep improving that means he must be doing so as well. That is Go.

My current Go library:

If organized religion is the opium of the masses, then disorganized religion is the marijuana of the lunatic fringe.
