Hwang In-seong

Hwang In-seong is an EGF 8-dan amateur go player, former yeongusaeng from 1996-2001, and former game commentator on Baduk TV. Since 2001, he has placed 1st in 37 amateur go tournaments in Korean and Europe.^{[CitationNeeded]}

He stayed in Germany in 2005/2006, and returned in 2009, after finishing his military service. In spring 2011, Hwang In-seong became an official teacher of the Swiss Go Association and teaches at the Zurich, Lausanne, Geneva Go Club. In 2014, he moved to Grenoble, France, becoming an official teacher of the French Go Federation, alongside Fan Hui.

In 2011, Hwang In-seong founded an online school, Yunguseng Dojang. In 2014, he added an american section. At a point in time, the European Yunguseng Dojang had 72 active players and a 15+ person waiting list, and the American Yunguseng Dojang had around 40 active players. Oh Chi-min, Kim Seong-jin, and Kim Young-Sam joined the school as assistant teachers, helping to review every players' played games.

In 2017, Hwang In-seong created the Ellie Cup, which was named after his daughter. He created the event in order to give favor back to the European go community.

He developed the points lover opening.
