I'm a from Germany, living in Munich. In 2000 I was attending the European Go Congress in Straussberg. I played there as 1 kyu. In the main tournament I beat 4 1 dans and a 1 kyu but lost to 2 2 dans, so afterwards I decided to promote myself to shodan.

Recently (autumn 2003) I played a good tournament and now I am playing as 2 dan but surely this has to be proven at the go board in future tournaments :)

Latest results as 2 dan:

• Erding, 3 wins (against 2 shodans and one 3 dan), 2 losses (against a 2 and a 3 dan).
• Erlangen, 2 wins (against a 2 and a 3 dan), 3 losses (against a 1, a 2 and a 3 dan).
