• Winner of 10th SK Gas Cup in 2006 (beating Lee Yeongkyu 2-0).
• Winner of the 4th BCcard Cup World Baduk Championship in 2012 (beating Dang Yifei 3-1).
• Winner of the 24th Asian TV Cup in 2012 (beating Kong Jie).

In 2008, he played Pak Yeonghun in the Kiseong title.

Member of the Team Posco LED, winner of the 2011 Korean Baduk League.
