Winner in 2012 of the 2nd Taiwan Women's Mingren, with a perfect score of 10-0 (runner-up in the 1st edition 2011).

Zhang represented Taiwan in the first edition of the Bingsheng Cup international women's tournament in 2010, after Joanne Missingham was called on at short notice to compete for Oceania.

She was involved in the 2011 gender discrimination in Taiwanese Go protest over unequal game fees, following the 2011 Qiandeng Cup Incident.

Runner up to Joanne in the inaugural Women's Zuiqiang in 2015.

In 2021, she played White against Yang Zixuan in the longest professional game.
