Mateusz Surma (born on 3rd September 1995) is since 2015 an EGF-professional go player from Dzimierz, Poland.

He spent over two years in Korean go academies - King’s Baduk Dojang, Yang Jae-Ho Baduk Dojang, and Choong-Am Baduk Dojang. He was participating in CEGO program at Ge Yuhong Weiqi Daochang in Beijing for two seasons.

His biggest achievements are:

• 1st place in the European Youth Championship under 12 (2006, Saint Petersburg, Russia)

• 6th place in the World Youth Championship under 12 (2006, Shenzhen, China)

• 1st place in the European Youth Championship under 16 (2010, Sibiu, Romania)

• 6th place in the World Youth Championship under 16 (2010, Magong, Taiwan)

• 1st place in the European Youth Championship under 16 (2011, Brno, Czech Republic)

• 5th place in the World Youth Championship under 16 (2011, Bucharest, Romania)

• 3rd place in the European Championship (2013, Olsztyn, Poland)

• 1st place in the European Professional Qualifications and obtaining “pro” title as the first Polish player in history (2015, Pisa, Italy)

• 2nd place in the European Grand Slam (2015, Berlin, Germany)

• 2nd place in the Silk Road Tournament (2015, Xi’an, China)

• 2nd place in the European Professional Championship (2016, Saint Petersburg, Russia)

• 2nd place in the European Professional Championship (2017, Saint Petersburg, Russia)

• Four wins in a row in the Chinese Go League (2017, Quzhou, China)

• 1st place in the Samsung Cup preliminaries - World Division Baduk Masters (2017, Seoul, South Korea)

• 2nd place in the European Championship (2017, Oberhof, Germany)
