Jago
Jago or JagoClient (latest version: 6.2, release date: 2013-05-04) is an IGS/NNGS, WING, and LGS client and a server (for Jago clients only). It supports IPv4 only. It is very configurable. It is also an editor that can edit SGF and Jago XML files. Written in Java.
On the first run, its windows must be resized for all the buttons or the text to become visible.
Another note: A few things need to be fixed. For example, chat with a 'Partner' is 'broken' (not working). Since it is open source and it has network features that no other Go application has, it would be nice if someone took some time to fix everything that is currently 'broken' and to add support for IPv6. Download the source code of version 6.2. The source code in the CVS repository is older.
Note: Jago allows one to cheat while playing on-line, as one can explore variations without the opponent seeing this.
License
Up to version 4.54, Jago was published as free software (GPL).[1] The source code for the current version is still available for download, but redistribution, modification and use in other projects requires the author's permission.
