Chang Hao

Chang Hao (常昊, Pinyin: Cháng Hào, born in Shanghai Nov. 7, 1976) is a Chinese professional player who became 9 dan in 1999.

In 2004, 2005 and 2007 won the China weiqi League, as member of the Team Shanghai.

Titles won by Chang Hao include the 11th Samsung Cup, the 5th Ing Cup, the 1st Qisheng, plus the 12th World Amateur Go Championship.

In 2009-06-24 Chang Hao won the 7th Chunlan Cup, his 19th professional title (16 domestic and 3 international titles).

He is married to Zhang Xuan 8-dan.

Hao was a student of Yang Yilun while on the Shanghai Professional Team.

He's been noted as a close friend to Yi Chang'ho.
