LoP: The fact that the 'correct solution' diagram of the first problem contains a misprint is an indication of the poor publishing quality of this series. I was also disappointed by the bad translation of Think like a Pro Haengma from the same series. (I've only taken a look at the sample pages. Could somebody who actually owns the book check if the diagram is correct in the book please?)

Harleqin: The "sample" is very bad. The real book has no misprints (as far as I have seen) and has much nicer typesetting. The english may not be of finest literature standard, but it is very clear. I own both books and I like them very much.

maruseru: The literal (more or less word-for-word) translation is actually a bonus if you're trying to learn Korean, though. I refer to this series as my "Rosetta stone". :)

sergio0p: The 'translation' (sic!) seems to have been done by some computer program. If I were the translator, I would be ashamed of having my name and picture in the flip cover of the book. But despite the translation, this series is a very good one.

Bill: It sounds like extended pae includes both iterated ko and approach ko. Is that right?

Harleqin: I think what you call iterated ko is covered under "two-step pae".
