Wang Yang

Chinese pro, 2 dan in 1995, 3 dan in 1997, 4 dan in 2001, 5 dan in 2002.

Wang was the head teacher in the 2006 Go'n'Games trip.

He was also the main coach in the 2013-14 CEGO program (see Benjamin Teuber's report Half a Year in China), teaching alongside Li Ting, who later began working at the Osaka Go School.

He was a member of Team Beijing in the 2009 China Weiqi League, in which his team took second place; however, he did not play.

From 2006 to 2009, he played on KGS as wangyang.
