Why Pok? When I had to chose a username for IGS, I first thought of pokerface, but found it too long. Then I wanted to type in poka, the Japanese word for "stupid mistake", but somehow made a poka and found myself called "pok". I've got to like it in the meantime, especially since I learned that it might have the meaning of "blowfish" in Korean (not sure whether this is correct or not).
Alex Weldon: Bok is a blowfish, though the initial consonnant is actually halfway between a B and a P, so you'll see it romanised as pok sometimes. Pok (or p'ok, in the old-style romanisation with the apostrophe denoting that it's an aspirated P) means "width."
Pok: Thx 4 that!
In hungarian language "Pók" means "spider".
