Cathy Li; ( 李晨硕; Li Chen Shuo ) is a professional 1-dan Go player in the Chinese Go Association.

Born in 1974, Shanghai, China

at age 7, she started learning Go after famous Go instructor Bai Rui Qiu.

at age 10, she won the 3rd place in the 1st China "Child Prodigy" Cup Go Championship

at age 11, she became the only female Go player in China that honored as "female prodigy" of Go

at age 12, Enter Shanghai Youth Go Team

at age 14, got China 1 P

at age 15, Won Team Championship in the 1989 China National GO championship

at age 16, Enter Shanghai Go Team, and won Team Championship again in the 1990 China National GO Championship

at age 17 and 18 Won Silver Medal twice in China National GO Championship

at age 20, Enter Shanghai Jiaotong University, During and after the school days, Be invited as the judge and Guest Commentator in many international GO competitions. at the same period, Also be invited as professional GO teacher of Shanghai Ying's GO school. several of her students had won championships at different levels in many national GO Tournaments.

2002, Immigrated to Canada

2004, Be invited as the chief judge for The 21 st World Youth GO Championship hold by Canada West GO Association in Vancouver

2008, Be The Coach of Canada GO Team for the 1st World Mind Sports Game (WMSG).

2009, Be the President of the Canada West GO Association

2010, Sucessfully organized The 33rd Canadian Open GO Tournament (Vancouver) and Be representative of North American in The 1st Bingsheng Cup World Women's GO championship.
