Gokyo Seimyo Tsumego Series
Gokyo Seimyo (published in 1835) is considered a sequel of the well known classic Gokyo Shumyo (1812).
There are four volumes to this work:
- Vol. 1 - Joseki diagrams
- Vol. 2 - Invasion and Endgame diagrams
- Vol. 3 - Problems
- Vol. 4 - Games of Chinese Masters
This current series will focus on the problems from volume 3. The first 44 of them are titled "Tesuji Inside Territories" and typically capture opponent's stones guarding an area or make seki by exploiting their shortage of liberties. You can learn how liberties are tactically important by tackling these problems.

These have no particular titles. Many are problems copied or slightly modified from other famous collections, including Gokyo Shumyo by the same author. #45 and 46 may be considered as additions to "Tesuji inside Territories". #66, 68 and 69 are reference diagrams, not problems.
