Cheng Xiaoliu

Cheng Xiaoliu 程晓流 (b. January 26, 1949) Chinese pro, 6 dan awarded in 1982. Native of Fuzhou, Fujian Province but grew up in Beijing. Placed 5th in 1977, 3rd in 1981 National Championship respectively, as well as runner-up in the 4th New Sport Tournament in 1982, losing to Nie Weiping 2-3. Other record included 4th place in the first Mingren 名人 Tournament. Senior Editor of Weiqi Tiandi, Wu Qingyuan's Collected Games and Igo Hatsuyoron from World Weiqi Masterpieces of Life and Death, and authors of a number of books on classics.
