Xian-Xian Niu

(牛 娴娴, b. 1964) Chinese 5 dan professional. She is married to Michael Redmond 9 dan. She is now living in Chiba City. Her older sister, Niu Li Li has long been Go Seigen's amanuensis. Xian-Xian Niu is thus the aunt of Nyu Eiko, Li Li's daughter. Both sisters played and promoted Go in their native Heilongjiang Province, but both moved to Japan for Go study decades ago.
