Wangzhongwang

(嵊州杯王中王围棋争霸赛) Chinese elite invitational professional tournament, started in 2019.

Wangzhongwang means "King of Kings".

The first edition was a double elimination knockout with eight competitors. The second edition was a single elimination.

The inaugural 2019 tournament was won by Xie Erhao. This was a triumph of the double elimination system, since Xie had lost his first game to Tan Xiao, and had thus had to win his way through the losers' tournament in order to face and beat Fan Tingyu in the common final.

In 2020 it was won by Ke Jie, who defeated Tang Weixing.
