The 1st Bailing Cup

Two young Chinese players (pro from 2011-07-23) obtained great results. Chen Xian won his preliminar rounds, defeating Han Seuju (a Korean amateur) and then Lian Xiao and Seto Taiki; in the first round of the main tournament, he beat another Korean amateur (now he will be promoted to pro 1 dan), Kim Minho.

Xie Erhao beat in the first round Rui Naiwei and then Yamashita Keigo, after winning three games in his preliminar; then he reached the semi-finals of the tournament.

Another young Chinese, Huang Yunsong 2 dan (pro from 2010-07-24), obtained great results; he beat in the preliminar rounds Hong Sungji and Tuo Jiaxi, then, in the first round of the main tournament, Hane Naoki.

Piao Wenyao, Choi Cheolhan and Gu Li lost in the first round, Yamashita Keigo and Iyama Yuta in the second. Only a Korean (Park Junghwan) made the top 8, and the top four were: Chen Yaoye, Tang Weixing, Zhou Ruiyang and Xiao Erhao: Chen and Zhou won 2-1 their marches.

Zhou Ruiyang beat Chen Yaoye in the final match, wining the title by 3-0.
