手つき (te-tsuki), a Japanese go term, for the way a stone was physically played. Usually paired with an adjective as in:

Tetsuki is a common japanese word for manner of using one's hands or way of doing something.


Bob McGuigan: I think tetsuki is part of the meaning of shudan, or hand talk, as a nickname for go. The way you play stones expresses your feelings, attitude, and intentions.
