Tealeaf

I'm a player living in Oxford. I'm very interested in China and Chinese culture. My Chinese is probably at the point now where I'd call it "not bad", but I'm hardly fluent. I've contributed here to the China Weiqi League page, and I'm usually keen to learn and teach a little bit more about the Chinese aspects of the game.

I mainly play on Dragon and IGS with username "tealeaf". I can very occasionally be found in the Go Center of Second Life as "Tealeaf Zhao".

I'm a member of CouchSurfing, where I'm the founder of the Go group. If anyone is visiting Oxford and wants somewhere to stay and play Go, make a request from my profile. I'd also love to hear from anyone else who uses CouchSurfing.

I was previously on the council of the British Go Association, as chair of the Online Committee. I proposed and set up, with a lot of help from various volunteers, the BGA Online Team League tournament, which has been a success so far. I'm looking forward to seeing an individual league start soon.
