Snapback Problem 31

  Difficulty: Advanced   Keywords: Problem
[Diagram]
Yose mistake

This is a position from one of the ongoing games in the library. Black played B1 which means a lack of practice in the snapback workshop.

Why B1 is wrong and what move is better?

I don't know how to set the difficulty of this problem. A KGS 9k player missed it in the actual game. This means that for the 15k players this can be a half minute problem. So, I set the difficulty to advanced.

Solution

Dieter: In this position tenuki looks likely. I assume the solution is not tenuki.

HolIgor: I agree but let us look for the best move locally. Assume that the loss of the two stones in large enough.
