  • Books (Neiter of which I understood in depth or indeed read till the end. Still, reading about the basic concepts helped a lot):
    • ''Life and Death'' by James Davies
    • ''Tesuji'' by James Davies
    • ''In the Beginning'' by Ishigure Ikuro
• 20k - 18k (In no particular order)
  • Got a mentee - Somaa (25-24k). Actively reading other peoples' games for mistakes helps a lot to find mistakes in your own games!
  • Key concepts (learned in reviews by several helpful guys at KGS)
    • You need half the points + 1
    • Corners, then sides, then center
    • Contact play is for defense, loose play is for attack
    • Constantly watch for small vs. big points
