Kweon Kap-yong
Kweon Kapyong (권갑용, b.1957) is a Korean 8-dan professional. He is most well known for his baduk school, which has created over 45 professionals, and for his high-level tsumego book series.
About 20 years ago, he founded one of the strongest baduk schools in the world. Since then, he has moved primarily into teaching and away from a professional playing career. His pupils have included Yi Sedol, Choi Cheolhan and Won Seongjin. As of 2006, his school ran from 9AM to 9PM, consisted of about 75 pupils, and had helped created over 45 professionals.
He authored a famous tsumego book series titled Kweon Kapyong Baduk Academy Series (권갑용바둑도장시리즈). The series is intended for high-dan players (6-dan and above) and those aiming to become professional players. It currently consists of eight volumes.[1]

Notes
[1] In 2010, the Japanese publisher of the series, Tokyo Sogensha (東京創元社), ceased distribution of the first two volumes. The two volumes were found to contain tsumego composed by famous Japanese author Kada Katsuji, and were therefore in violation of Japanese copyright law regarding tsumego. (Tokyo Sogensha's official apology: http://www.tsogen.co.jp/news/2010/07/10072210.html.) However, outside of Japan the copyright laws regarding tsumego (and other Go problems) are different and so the volumes remained legal in countries such as China and Korea.
