Aoba Kaori

青葉かおり

(b.1978) Nihon Ki-in female pro, teacher at ANA Intercontinental Tokyo Go Salon, and producer of the Aidu Chuo Hospital Cup.

Promoted to 3 dan in 1999, 4 dan in 2002, 5 dan in 2016. She is a Waseda University alumna, where Fujiwara Akiko, Shimosaka Miori and Aragaki Miki graduated.

In 2011, she visited London for the London International Teams event. In response for her time commenting and playing some teaching games, £181 was raised for the Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal. She was then taken to dinner by ten of the players. (BGJ #156)
