mAsterdam: It seems a good idea to create Joseki excercises. How to respond to move g? - or to trick move v? Why not play c?
However these two would not be good examples - primo they are questions, not execercises and secundo they are about Fuseki, not Joseki. The best place to ask these is BQM. It is not so easy to create a good set of exercises.
Evan: Yes if someone genuinely wants to discuss a joseki situation from game they played, then I would be more than happy to link to where they're discussing it, from the correct SJ page. But the rather forced attempt I tried really doesn't work, and was pretty pointless. So I've basically come to the same conclussion.
Yes and it shouldn't be done the way it is now. But I wasn't asking for an anwser, I know it already.. And like I said it's more of a fuseki question - Anwser is that black simply protects the corner in sente and gets the 3rd corner. If anything there then it should be an easier move to leave(Like the higher variation of the approach)... Even if pro would 99% of the time play at the top left because the 3-4 is okay even with a tenukie... Either way I agree, it may be nice but not like that... We have to think of a better way. Is it time for rethinking the effort yet? We could wait some more time and all... Reuven
