Yugen Cup

(幽玄杯精鋭リーグ戦) Yugen Cup was a Japanese professional tournament held from 2008 to 2011. Games were played online using the Yugen no Ma server. Some top inseis were allowed to participate.
Time control was 2 hours each plus 1 min byoyomi in the first two editions. 30 second per move plus 10 x 1min (NHK Cup system) in the 3rd and 4th editions.
The winner's purse was mere JPY 100,000; it was more of a promotion for the server than a serious professional tournament.

Results
- 1st, 2008: 50 players, 6 rounds. Six players tied on 6-0, Ko Iso won the tournament on tie-break.
- 2nd, 2009: 50 players, 12 rounds. Three players tied on 12-0, Iyama Yuta won on tie-break.
- 2nd, 2010: 40 players, 8 rounds. Five players tied on 8-0, Cho Chikun won on tie-break.
- 4th, 2011: 34 players, 8 rounds. Four players tied on 8-0, So Yokoku won on tie-break.
