Tapir: Can someone explain sth. about this tournament. There are several players with perfect 6:0 score in 2007. They're competing but who won? How they decide who has won? Does .sgf-kifu exist?

valerio: Yigo.org ([ext] http://www.yigo.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2124) says that Ko Iso 7 dan was the winner of the first edition (2007-2008; view also Ko profile at Nihon Kiin: [ext] http://www.nihonkiin.or.jp/player/htm/ki000384.htm).

Second edition started on 2008-04-28 and each player will play 12 games, instead of six. The winner was Iyama Yuta of a perfect score of 12 wins.

Game records are at (in sgf format) [ext] http://www.web2go.idv.tw/gopro/ttlx1_list.php?id=51 or at (not sgf, only viewer) [ext] http://www.go4go.net/v2/modules/collection/bytour2.php?tid=126

Cho Chikun won the third edition (2009-2010) with perfect score of 8-0 (SOS 13); second was Tsuruyama Atsushi (10), 3rd O Rissei (4), 4th So Yokoku and Kataoka Satoshi (SOS 3).

tapir: SOS 3? - after playing eight matches? can it be the messed up with the tiebreakers somewhat? ah they are seeding top players against insei and new pros so they end up with a lot of 8-0, 7-1 and 0-8, 1-7 final scores.
