He was the mirrored player in Cho Hyeyeon's 2007-09-28 mirror Go game (132 moves of mirroring), in the Korean Baduk League. Although technically it was not a pure mirror, as Cho didn't replicate a peep exchange that Park made on move 14.

Extrapolation from that Go4Go profile suggests that he qualified by 2000 was promoted to 2p in that year. They're very unclear on when he made 3p, with a lot of rank inconsistency in the games of that time. It happened somewhere between 2001 and 2003.

He was promoted to 4p in 2003 or 2004, 5p in 2005 (as the article said), 6p in 2008 or 2009, and 7p somewhere between 2009 and 2011. The list of Korean professionals, taken from the Japanese Wikipedia in 2021, lists him as an 8p. This promotion must have happened in or after 2013.
