Oshiro Gofu
Oshiro Gofu (御城碁譜, Castle Games Records) is an influential 10-volume series over the castle games edited by Segoe Kensaku in 1950-51. It was first published by Oshiro Gofu Seiri Haifu Iinkai (御城碁譜整理配布委員会, Castle game records collection and distribution committee) in 1951 and later by Seibundo Shinkosha in 1978. The original 1951 edition contains 524 castle games, 9 earlier games played in the castle, 78 other notable games and many short biographies. Several of Segoe's comments would influence future Japanese views on players from the castle games periods.
