[Diagram]
Tesuji

It looks like Black is dead, but no, Black has a nice clamping tesuji at B1. It aims at the snapback at a, which is a double atari.

[Diagram]
Easy resistance

If White defends at W2, then B3 becomes an atari, and so B5 lives by making an eye at the corner.

[Diagram]
Stronger resistance (B5 = black+circle)

W2 gives a stronger resistance, but the pull back of B3 is an atari, allowing Black to live in a seki by the throw-in at B5.
