Hoshino Toshi

Hoshino Toshi (星野 紀 1918–1991) was a Japanese 9-dan professional of the Nihon Ki-in. Among many of his accomplishments, he is remembered for playing the longest recorded professional game, 411 moves, against Yamabe Toshiro in the 1950 Oteai.[1]
His teacher was Takeda Itsuko and he himself was teacher of Sekine Naohisa.
