Go Research

Go may be a game, but games too are the subject of serious research. Some researchers work for the Baduk department of the Seoul university, (Myeongji University, was on the Yongin campus but said to be moving into central Seoul); others are active in fields such as combinatorial game theory, artificial intelligence, computer science etc.

More often than not, the articles are geared towards theorists and Go programmers rather than your average Go player. Every now and then, it is possible to extract advice, tools or useful information from this material.
