Emil Nijhuis

Emil Nijhuis is a Dutch 6d player. He grew up in Kiel, Germany and learnt the game from his big brother, Caspar Nijhuis 5d. After playing European tournaments, he became an insei in the company of Alexander Dinerstein. He was Dutch champion in 2003 and 2004, 3rd at the IWABC 2003, as well as German pair go champion (together with Zhao Pei)) in 1998 and German youth champion in 1993.
