bugcat: According to the Taiwan Zhonghuan Cup article, he was runner up in the 1996 edition of that tournament. But since he would have only been five years old, that seems... unlikely. The list of Taiwanese professionals only records a single Chen Feng, but clearly something in our data is wrong.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt for his finals appearance in the CMC TV Cup, but he'd have been very young even for that. Perhaps that also was the work of the hypothetical older Chen Feng.

I checked the Taiwan Qiyuan profile with the Wayback Machine, and confirmed that it does give 1991 as his birth year. Maybe this source has a mistake. Wikidata has the same date of birth, though, and so does Taiwan Go (which is listed as their source), so this idea doesn't seem probable.
