This one arose last night (8 May 2005) at Go club. There is a proverb regarding four die but six live regarding stones on the third line. In that instance, Black is hemmed in on both sides. Here Black has only three stones on the third line, but also has support of three stones on the second line. Alas, White has placed a cutting stone as well.
