Update? [#794]
I wonder if anyone who keeps up with the Asian press could update this page with commentary on some players we're seeing today: Takao Shinji, Park Cheongsang, etc.
I am floored that I can't find any page that links/lists professional players other than this. It certainly seems like a go wiki ought to have a page that lists professional players, their rank, and their professional association, as well as their name in various applicable Asian fonts.
This page could be converted to do that job... but not by me since I don't know this information.
Am I missing a page? I searched on the word professional.

Bob McGuigan: This isn't a list of all Nihon Ki-in pros, just the ones who were promoted or retired during the last couple of years.
When you arrive at that link, yes, there are the promotions. However, in the top frame you have a drop-down list, where you can choose a rank to display all players from.
The page design seems a bit broken in my browser. If you can't see the drop-down list, you have to scroll that frame down with either a mouse wheel or by marking the text in that frame.
