Can't beginners be exposed to seki and ko? This is a nice problem even if the solution page or prompt is messy.

If I'm reading that page correctly, the correct answer to this problem is to tennuki, no? Life is strictly better than ko, and the white stone is already alive in seki.
Depends. Black wouldn't gain much by winning the ko, but might lose a lot. And the best he can get by moving first is a seki. But these complications are imo enough to move it elsewhere. Personally I found 3 problems among the first 100 to be a bit over the top, other than this the 28 and the 54.
